-Presentation to Discuss How a Fortune 1000 Company Improved its Safety Initiatives-
Pittsburgh, September 17, 2015 – Todd Shingleton, Vice President of Safety, Environmental and Sustainability at Wabtec Corporation will co-present with Esteban Tristan, Safety Practice Manager at Select International at the 2015 National Safety Council (NSC) Conference. The conference will take place in Atlanta from September 26 – October 2.
Shingleton and Tristan will present “What Were You Thinking? How One Global Company is Getting to the Real Root Cause of Risks.” This session highlights how Wabtec used innovative leading indicators and tools to improve safety through two pioneering countermeasures to accident causation. Balancing applied experience and research, this session offers tools for data-driven risk assessment that range from the shop floor to HR.
