Meet the Interns

We welcome four new interns to our team this summer. We asked them all our top ten questions, and here is how they answered.

1)     What’s your name?

2)     What school are you at? What's your major? What year will you graduate?

IUPUI, pursuing M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, graduating May 2018

3)     What will you be doing in your internship?

Working with the consulting team on job analysis, competency modeling, validation studies, and custom test content creation.

4)     What is the most important thing you want to take away from you internship experience here?

I’m excited to apply my I/O knowledge to help organizations better select and develop people. Specifically, I hope to gain more experience working with data and then translating it into useful recommendations for organizations.

5)     Give me two truths and a lie.

I’m a huge cat person, I taught myself to drive a stick shift, and I love to rock climb.

6)     Are you willing to play Cornhole at our cookouts?

Yes.

7)     What’s your favorite color?

Forest green and navy blue, or any earthy color.

Veggie Patty

9)     Where would find you on a Saturday night around 10pm?

At home playing my ukulele, reading a book, getting creative in the kitchen, or out trying craft beers.

10)  What kind of music do you like?

Indie rock, pop-punk, rap, instrumental post-rock.

1)     What’s your name?

Nathaniel Rupsis. I go by Nate because it’s short and easy to yell.

2) What school are you at? What's your major? What year will you graduate?

I’m at IUPUI in the Purdue Computer Science Track, and (lord willing) I’ll be graduating May 2018.

3)     What will you be doing in your internship?

For the internship, our team is creating an application that will allow users to search/edit Load-Test information.

4)     What is the most important thing you want to take away from you internship experience here?

The biggest thing I’d like to take away from this internship is collaboration skills.

5)     Give me two truths and a lie.

I can do a Donald duck impression. I got pulled over while riding in a Ferrari. I met Jonathan Towes while Caddying.

6)     Are you willing to play Cornhole at our cookouts?

Yes. In all honesty, I didn’t know what Cornhole was initially… In Illinois we call it bags.

7)     What’s your favorite color?

Green

8)     Veggie Patty, Hamburgers or Hotdogs?

Yes? I like food. Especially free food. But I’d have to say Burgers.

9)     Where would find you on a Saturday night around 10pm?

It varies. If I’m not at my desk doing homework or learning C++, I’m probably drinking.

10)  What kind of music do you like?

Classic Rock

2)     What school are you at? What's your major? What year will you graduate?

Purdue University West Lafayette majoring in Computer Science. I’m set to graduate in May 2018.

3)     What will you be doing in your internship?

I will be working with the other two interns to create an application to access and tag the load tests that PAN runs against its products.

4)     What is the most important thing you want to take away from you internship experience here?

Having worked at a huge company last year (Home Depot), I’m mostly excited about getting a sense of how a smaller company operates, and what the culture of a smaller company is.

5)     Give me two truths and a lie.

I can eat fire and juggle flaming torches. I sent a video into America’s Funniest Home Videos and it was shown. I’ve never been to Disney World.

6)     Are you willing to play Cornhole at our cookouts?

Only if you all are willing to lose at Cornhole.

7)     What’s your favorite color?

Green

8)     Veggie Patty, Hamburgers or Hotdogs?

Cheeseburgers

9)     Where would find you on a Saturday night around 10pm?

Hanging out with friends. Whether that’s at the movies, the bar, or just chilling in my apartment.

10)  What kind of music do you like?

Electronic and Rock are my favorite, but I enjoy most music besides rap and country.

Rose-Hulman, Computer Science and Software Engineering graduating in the May of 2018.

3)     What will you be doing in your internship?

I will be working with the other interns on creating the internal tool CATAPULT.

4)     What is the most important thing you want to take away from you internship experience here?

Hoping to take away new skills for next year/beyond.

5)     Give me two truths and a lie.

Have 3 siblings, All of them have gone to Rose-Hulman, Grew up in Maryland and have played soccer all of my life.

6)     Are you willing to play Cornhole at our cookouts?

Yes

7)     What’s your favorite color?

Blue

Hamburgers

9)     Where would find you on a Saturday night around 10pm?

Hanging out with friends.

A wide variety, classic rock hip hop and some EDM.
