PSI Goes PINK For Breast Cancer Fundraiser

October 30, 2017

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and PSI decided to go PINK in order to do our part to help find a cure for this terrible disease affecting millions of women (and men) in our country.

According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer EVERY TWO MINUTES. PSI recognizes the critical need to find a cure, prevent breast cancer in future generations, and help save the lives of those diagnosed, so we issued a challenge to our U.S. staff.  If we could hit a $2,000 fundraising goal for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, PSI Corporate would match it.

We set up multiple activities throughout the week to spread the word and bring awareness to this cause.  We asked employees to wear PINK on Thursday, October 26th, to show support; we played PINK Bingo in our offices; and we set up a fundraising page with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  As a result, we not only met our goal, we surpassed it, and we’re happy to have raised a total of $4,872 to help the BCRF do their good work in finding a cure for this terrible disease.

Click here if you would like to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  For every dollar spent, 91 cents is committed to tackling breast cancer.
