- HRCI pre-approved program for 2.5 (General) recertification credits -
Pittsburgh, April 11, 2012 - Select International’s online interview training program, Select Interviewing® Online, was recently approved for 2.5 (General) recertification credit hours by the HR Certification Institute.
A global provider of employee assessments and hiring solutions, Select International launched the online interview training program in October 2011. Select Interviewing Online also offers an optional three-hour classroom training that builds on the online content, allowing participants to practice their interviewing skills with a partner.
Select Interviewing Online, modeled after Select International’s classroom-led training program, includes guided narration, videos and interactive exercises. It takes approximately two hours to complete and was designed to allow participants to complete as much or as little in one log-in session, based on their availability.
The online training covers multiple areas, including:
• Common Interviewing Mistakes
• Predicting Future Performance
• Unacceptable Questions
• Taking Notes
• Assigning Competency Ratings
• Combining Ratings
Participants’ answers to text-entry practice exercises are captured and used to generate a summary report. This report can be used as a key learning point in the future, and can also be emailed to the participants’ supervisors, if desired. This feature discourages passive participation, keeping them involved and actively engaged in the training.
